I want my Money back I had this bottle for a week now and I followed the instructions before I used it the first time. After about 4 good times of using it I started to taste sewage so I washed the bottle out and tried again ,no luck the taste was still there. So I take the filter out and then try my water again the water taste good without the filter in it I don't think I will ever buy Brita products again I even had other family members try the water with the filter in and they also tasted the same as I did pure sewage. 2011-06-15 20:42:18

Incredibly convenient way to hydrate daily This filtering bottle has changed the way I drink water. I take it to work, yoga, and I was surprised to find myself using it a lot at home. Good product, however it has it's limitations I'm excited about being able to filter my water before I drink it while on the go...I am discouraged that adding flavorings to the water is not addressed in any of the literature, I'm guessing because it may affect the filtering processing...otherwise the the product is VERY durable & ergomonically convenient to carry /use while engaged in numerous activies...this is a late blooming idea well worth the wait... 2011-06-20 12:24:14

Only one issue, make sure filter top is tight If not, the water will leak on you. Make sure that both lids are tight. Wonderful tasting water comes out. Work in an old builing where they took out our water dispensers, bought these in a 3 pack at BJ's for a camping trip for my family and ended up using it daily for work and sending one with my child to school everyday. the bottle leaks I bought this for my 20 year old daughter two weeks ago. She has used it for about 8 days , and has never put it in the dishwasher. I always wash it by hand. Tonight she informed me that it was leaking. She tried tightening the cap, but it still leaked from under the cap. I removed the rubber carry handles, and tried it again, but it was still leaking. Unfortuately I don't have the receipt any longer so I am out $10. 2011-06-21 21:19:35

I love this We drink a lot of water but we never like the taste of tap water so my family was going through a lot of bottles every day. This bottle has made it a lot easier for us to drink great tasting water throughout the day, no matter where we are. The only bad thing I can say about the bottle is that it isn't very insulated, ice melts pretty fast. I love the idea, but tired of getting soaked! I work in an office with horrible tasting water. When this bottle came out, I asked for one for Father's day so I can stop buying bottled water. Convenient but Leaky GREAT Idea! I'm baffled that no one thought of this sooner. Convenient and cheaper than bottled work. Only one MAJOR issue: it LEAKS EVERYWHERE! The lid doesn't seal properly and no matter what I do or how tightly I close it; there is always water all over me, my desk or my car. Convenience is underrated I love Brita products in general so I did not hesitate to try the new Brita bottle. It's a challenge to find a spout water bottle that doesn't leak. The Brita bottle mostly fills this need for me. I do notice that at 50% water level, there is less water to maintain the shape of the bottle as I'm squeezing water into my mouth. Fluid inevitably spills out of the bigger rim as well as the spout. 2011-07-07 21:04:20

Works for me! I'm satisfied with the Brita water bottle- it definitely makes the water out of my office fountain taste great, and after learning to really tighten the cap, I haven't had any of the leaking issues that others have mentioned. Leaky top is inexcusable Poor design. Poor material choice. Why is there no gasket to prevent leakage? I understand the attempt to have a radial seal like the ones in the tops of .5L water bottles, but this design fails. A more rigid material is needed for a proper seal. The bottle is designed to be squeezed, and pressure is created, but even with thicker thread/seal area, the features are not rigid enough. There are a host of materials that are flexible at thin wall thickness and have the rigidity to create the necessary seal. Polyehtylene is not a good choice. Polyethylene phthalate is an obvious choice. User error is not an issue. I know how to install a lid and tighten it. After tightening the lid securely, the bottle will still leak after being tight for a while. Water tastes great - when im not wearing it. Great for work! The water out of the fountains at work is absolutely horrible. This water bottle makes the water taste great! I don't know how I lived without it. I have not had any of the leaking problems that I read about. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. 2011-07-18 09:16:11

filter ring broken the ring around the filter was broken when I bought it. i thought it might still work, but the bad water leaks around the broken ring and does not go through the filter. It also leaks around the main cap. I read the directions in the reviews and it does not solve the problem 2011-07-19 12:13:28

I like this product! I am pregnant in the summer, so I need to drink a lot of water. This bottle has made it very easy for me. I take it to work and when I'm running errands so I can stay hydrated without spending a ton of money on bottled water. My husband, and both of my kids have one now too. It's really nice for road trips because the kids can fill it up at any rest area. The only thing I don't like, is as the water level gets closer to the bottom of the bottle, its harder to get it out. My new favorite product This water bottle is great! What a convenience- being able to fill up a water bottle almost anywhere, without the bad taste of tap water or water from a fountain. It can be a little difficult to squeeze the water out at times, but I've gotten used to that. Great but noisy I have this for using at school and work. The bottle is amazing and makes the water taste great. However, my issue with the bottle is that its fairly loud. It squeaks when you drink out of it, so that is a bit annoying. 2011-07-26 18:54:30

How can you not like it. This is the best. Living in a small village where we have our own wells isn't always the best water. Lots of rust, sulfur, and who knows what else in the water. Use it everyday I truly love this product and I use it everyday. I have one at home and one at the office. It is very convenient. I used to never drink the tap water at the office because I didn't like the taste. With the Brita bottle I no longer have to worry about that. The water tastes great. No Problems Here! Terrific Product! I do love this water bottle so much that the first one purchased was for my husband since he loves the pitcher and the water tastes crystal clear and crisp. Shortly after purchasing his I fell in love with it and to had to have one. No leaking with either of our bottles. Great water bottle! I love the idea of having a portable water bottle with a filter! It's easy to store in the side pocket of a backpack, or clip on to a bag. The water tastes fresh, and I know it will be clean and filtered, no matter where I fill it up- tap, water fountain, etc. I love being able to travel with it, can take it through security at the airport empty, and just fill it up at the water fountain after I pass through. Easy and convenient - no fuss! My husband used to take a disposable water bottle everywhere he went - not only was that wasteful, it was crazy expensive! Only one problem I love it! Great to be able to carry around a refillable filtered water container! Only problem is that it leaks frequently. I Love It! I love this Bottle! I am on a weight loss journey and wanted something that I could take with me everywhere and not have to continuously purchase bottles of water. I can fill it up anywhere, It especially works great for the gym. It does leak on me a little sometimes, but only when I don't tighten the lid securely! Otherwise I LOVE It!!! Always check the cap I recently purchased this bottle for the convenience of filling as I am on the go or traveling. The taste of the water is fantastic as with all Brita filtered products. The major drawback to this bottle is the way the filter is attached. The white cap that attaches the filter can easily loosen. It also has a clear cap on top which must be removed to drink. In the removal process, the lid can loosen which leads to a mess once tipped and squeezed. Also, you have to squeeze hard to get the water out. This is only a problem because the cap loosens. Additional force could lead to an impromptu shower. I passed on the Boggle water filter bottle to go with a brand I trust, but now I wish I had purchased the other bottle. 2011-07-26 21:42:01

Fresh water... slowly I love the convenience of filling this up with tap water (or even already filtered water) and knowing I'm getting a clean drink every sip. It has two minor problems - 1.) The screw-on caps have to be very very tight or they leak. 2.) No more goat's milk since I sold the farm and went urban! I had the previous generation of the Brita-To-Go in college and loved it. The second generation Brita-To-Go is just as fabulous! Handy in the Heat My husband loves his filter bottle. We live in South Texas, he is outside a lot. He complained he could get cold water but it tasted terrible. SO Convenient!! I drink between 8 & 10 bottles of water each day. This is easy to do at home, but when I'm at work or out and about with my busy family carrying that much water is a problem. I have tried packing enough water for each day and have tried just taking a case of water to my classroom each week. Packing the water in each day led to either being weighed down daily or running out of water to drink. Taking in a case of water had its own problems including being in the way or by the end of the week I was back to the daily carry. This bottle allows me to have GREAT tasting water right from the faucet at school. It is so convenienet because I simply take the one bottle with me every where I go and keep refilling it. Best bang for your buck! In my quest to be more economical and green, I started looking at water filtration systems. I decided to buy a Brita pitcher and I absolutely loved it. As I began to try to drink more water, I learned about the Brita water bottle and immediately bought one. I love it, I take it everywhere and refill as needed. Terrific, convenient bottle! I got my first Brita Bottle about 11 years ago and loved it back then! I was thrilled when the new bottles came back onto the market The water tastes great! The bottle is convenient, but will leak if the lid is not tightened down well. My daughter uses her bottle in school and I use mine in my classroom. Several students also use a Brita Bottle because they can fill it at school and if it tips on their desk, it won't make a huge mess. Family Loves the Britta bottle!!! My family would easily go through a large case of bottled water weekly. Ever since I bought the Britta bottle for my family, our choice for drinking water is now with Britta! Not only do we love the great taste and convenience of this bottle, I have save a lot $$$ not buying bottled water. Plus we have all been drinking a lot more water. I would make one slight recommendation...provide more choices in color. Only ones available are blue and green which has caused a bit of a dilemma when the kids are fighting over who's bottle is who's (although each bottle is labeled). This product is soooo cool. Once you figure out that you have to hold down the ring while pushing down while screwing the top one, all problems solved. It is a little hard to suck water through,I suggest just squeezing the bottle. Its very accessible and has the best taste out of all filter that I have tried. Can't Go Wrong with Such a Great Way to Have Your Water This is really a terrific bottle with such great features. Having the filter in there is great for on the go when you're out and about and wanting to drink the water elsewhere but don't know if it tastes good or not. This bottle takes care of that all and has a great taste no matter what. I like the handle as it makes it convenient to pick up and grab quickly from one place to the next. Good Product for Convenient Water Filtration on the Go. I purchased this new bottle after carrying around my old Brita bottle that I got way over 5 years ago through a Kraft site. Happy, but couple of small complaints... I am really getting a lot of use out of my bottle. My only complaints are that it can be difficult to get lid on tight enough so that it doesn't leak when drinking; and the spout is difficult to open, which makes it hard for younger children to use. I also would like to see more colors available, which would make it easier to distinguish one family members' from another's. Also, in a perfect world, it would be insulated! SO EASY TO DRINK MORE WATER, I AM GETTING EVERYONE HOOKED!!! I bought myself one in blue, and soon noticed that every time I would put a full bottle in the fridge to cool, the next thing I would know, it's sitting on the counter, empty... I caught the thief red handed: on his lunch break, my husband was standing by the fridge, sucking down the whole thing like there's no tomorrow!!! Before I could say anything, he goes:'Man, this is sooooo good!', I told him, that it's not Mountain Dew... You see, in 11 years, I have barely seen him drink anything else, besides Mountain Dew, and Monsters.... He would pretty much need a doctor to put him on a 'water diet', for him to drink water, so I was confused, to say the least, I told him, that I asked him, before I got mine, if he wanted one, and he protested, he told me, he changed his mind, he wants his own... So, we bought an other one, along with a pitcher. When we went over to his parent's house, his dad was really interested, and thought that the bottle concept was great, he works at a plant, where it's always around 120 degrees and he has to wear long sleeve coveralls, so he drink water constantly, not to get dehydrated.... Now he has one too. And when people see me with it in stores, they always say the same: they want to buy it, but not sure if it's worth it, and I always answer their questions, and they end up going to the Brita section, to pick one up. All, in all, I LOVE my bottle! I take recycling seriously, I try to reduce my carbon footprint wherever, however I just can, and this bottle helps me do just that! Easy Squeezy! I love my new Brita Bottle. After years of dutifully filling my reusable bottle at home from my pitcher and then refilling throughout the day in water fountains, I'm so happy to finally be able to filter ALL the water I drink, wherever I am! The bottle is a great size and the squeezy sides make it pretty easy to drink from. I have the dark blue bottle which I like a lot. I do wish it had quantity markings on the side like a Nalgene. A great addition to the Brita line of products My husband recently purchased the Brita water bottle with filter for me. I requested one for my birthday. I was familiar with the Brita line of products and knew the bottle had to be a great additon to the line. Initially I was disappointed because the bottle leaked and nearly 1/3 of the bottle would not empty when filled even when I squeezed it. I contacted Brita and told them of the situation and they emailed me immediately and told me they were sending a replacement bottle. The new bottle works fine just as it should. It does not leak and the bottle completely empties. I am not sure why the first one didn't work but I am very happy with the replacement bottle. 2011-07-27 21:22:22

Needs Adjustments, but Best on Market The taste of the water is great, crisp and clean. The filters are easy and cheaper than others to replace. The bottle itself is sturdy and durable so it won't break unless under extreme circumstances. My only complaints would be that amount of water it holds (I'd prefer it to hold at least 25-30oz) and how the water kind of drizzles out of the spout when you're sucking it. I'd like it to be easier to drink the water rather than have to really work my muscles to get it. This could be a great bottled water replacer if the water was easier to drink from the bottle. Good Taste, Just a hassle! Water does taste pretty good, but the bottle is just a hassle to take care of. You have to keep track of the number of times you have re-filled the bottle as each filter is only good for so many re-fills. Overall easy to use. Water tastes great. Brita Taste in a Bottle I have tried other filter-bottles before, but this is, by far, the best. Though, at first, I thought the cap leaked, it turned out that I had not aligned the filter in the cap quite right (so far, so good since then). The water tastes just like the water from a Brita pitcher filter. The bottle is also easy to drink from, easy to hold, made of nice-feeling (not rubberized/coated) flexible plastic, and is - visually - aesthetically pleasing. My only wishes are for the protective cap for the mouth piece to be attached (I am always afraid of dropping/losing it), and for there to be a light weight sleeve and shoulder strap available to purchase for it (generic sleeves do fit, but they are so bulky/"insulated" that they are impractical most of the time). Great Product for the Office If you don't have a water cooler at the office, this is a great way to have great tasting water at your desk. It is extremely convenient to use with tap water, but you must screw on both lids correctly so it will not spill on you. In the middle I do like the convenience of being able to have filtered water on the go. The problem I have with this bottle is that you can not drink the whole bottle of water due to the placement of the filter. You will still have about 1-2" of water at the bottom. Great Water, Convienient I personally love the idea of this product and have already started to see my savings add up and i take it everywhere with me. My only issues with the product is they advertise it as squeezable....but if you squeeze a full bottle it leaks out the top...Also, the bottle can't be used for any type of juice mix so if I wanted a crystal mix i'd have to buy a water bottle to take with me on the go. Leaky mess.. I gave this bottle a fair rating because if you are at the gym or doing yardwork it is a great alternative to "non-reusable" water bottles. On the other hand, be careful because it does leak! I bought this bottle for work -- but when I turn it up to drink, the water seeps under the cap and dribbles down the front of me. Embaressing wet spots on my blouse and work pants = RETURN! I have tighten and re-tightened and even took the rubber part off and still no luck. Seems to me the hard cap isn't compatible with the squeeze bottle. Great Bottle I live in Texas and this year we have had our worst drought and our water has this nasty dirt taste to it.I bought the bottle , filled it, took a drink and the filter had removed the chlorine taste and even the dirt taste out of my water. I was truly amazed. 2011-08-10 16:13:19
